Hotel "Beograd" is located in the heart of Čačak, the only hotel in the pedestrian zone of the city center. The hotel also features a conference hall with the latest technical equipment, an aperitif bar, and a restaurant whose stained-glass windows, inspired by the motifs of old Čačak, create a unique atmosphere and charm.
1900
The construction of the building on the then King Alexander Street was started by the industrialist Ferdinand Kren, who had opened a brewery in Čačak in 1850. The construction was completed by his son Stevan, and the hotel ''Kren'', with six rooms, started operating on January 1, 1900.
1945
After 1945, the ''Kren'' hotel changed its name to SUR ''Beogradčić'' and later to hotel ''Beograd''. Hotel ''Beograd'' is one of the few to have preserved its original facade, which was protected in the late 1970s.
1961
The catering and tourism company ''Morava'', which continued the hospitality work at the hotel, performed the first reconstruction in 1961. In a major reconstruction, the building received a dining hall, a new block, and significantly more space in 1975.
2008
Hotel "Beograd" was completely renovated in 2008, and according to its classification, it transitioned from a two-star to a four-star hotel.
2017
The interior of the hotel gets a new look in the spirit od tradition, while improving the quaity of service and overall comfort for guests.
2023
The restaurant and aperitif bar were completely renovated according to modern design standards, while at the same time preserving the spirit of the past.
